Community Guidelines

AwayDay Planner is a community for football fans tracking grounds across England and Wales. We want it to stay welcoming, honest, and useful — whether you're on your first away day or closing in on all 92. These guidelines apply to everything you post, share, or send on the platform.

✅ Be Honest

Only log grounds you've actually visited. The whole point of The 92 is a genuine record of where you've been — fake check-ins undermine that for everyone on the leaderboard. Reviews should reflect your real experience of the ground.

🤝 Be Respectful

Treat other groundhoppers as you'd want to be treated at the ground. Disagreements about football are fine — personal attacks, targeted abuse, or harassment of any kind are not. This applies to posts, comments, reviews, direct messages, and group chats.

⚽ Keep It Football

This is a football groundhopping platform. Keep your posts, reviews, and forum contributions relevant. Spam, self-promotion, and content that has nothing to do with football or grounds will be removed.

🚫 Zero Tolerance

The following will result in an immediate ban with no warning: hate speech or discriminatory language of any kind (including racism, homophobia, and sexism), content that sexualises minors, threats of violence, and deliberate harassment campaigns. We take these seriously and will report illegal content to the relevant authorities.

📸 Photos and Profile Pictures

Only upload images you own or have permission to use. Profile photos must show something appropriate — no offensive imagery, no stock photos of other people, no club crests or trademarked logos. Photos on reviews and posts should relate to the ground or matchday experience.

✉️ Direct Messages

DMs are for connecting with fellow groundhoppers — planning trips, swapping recommendations, arranging meet-ups at grounds. Unsolicited spam, unwanted contact after someone asks you to stop, and any form of harassment via DM will result in your account being suspended. You can control who can message you in your Settings.

⭐ Reviews

Reviews should be based on your genuine experience of the ground — atmosphere, facilities, value. Don't review a ground you haven't visited, and don't use reviews to target a club or its fans with abuse. Constructive criticism is fine; personal attacks on other supporters are not.

🚩 Reporting

Every post, comment, review, photo, and message has a report button. Use it if you see something that breaks these guidelines. Reports go directly to our moderation team. We won't share who made a report. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

⚙️ Enforcement

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may remove content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend your account, or permanently ban you. We reserve the right to make these decisions at our discretion. If you think a moderation decision was wrong, contact us and we'll review it.

👤 Your Account

You are responsible for your account and everything posted under it. Don't share your login with others. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us. Accounts must be registered by a real person — bots and fake accounts will be removed.

🔞 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use AwayDay Planner. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete the associated data in line with our Privacy Policy.
