Club History
Founded in 1877, Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the great clubs of the 1950s, winning three First Division titles under Stan Cullis and pioneering European football in England with their famous floodlit friendlies. After decades in the lower divisions they returned to the Premier League in 2018 under Nuno Espírito Santo, backed by Fosun International. Molineux, their home since 1889, has been substantially redeveloped and regularly generates one of the loudest atmospheres in the league.
